Idea: Creating actionable playbooks from podcasts

02:29

I've been keeping a log of all the ideas that I've been having, but maybe I should talk through them so that I can make more sense of it. So let's try this. One idea I had this morning was to create playbooks out of podcasts. What does that mean? I listen to a lot of podcasts, and I enjoy them, I get inspired. There are a lot of actionable takeaways, and I believe I will remember them, but you know how it goes. You listen to the next podcast, you get inspired, you have a lot of frameworks and things that you listen to, and then you forget them, especially when you get into the real world and you start trying to take action on them. Now, what really sucks is that I spend so much time listening to those podcasts, but I might only implement 0.5% of what I hear, which is not a great investment of time. And the primary reason I think is that I not really taking those writing them down putting them into an action plan and applying them to something real One way of potentially doing that is to listen to a podcast and take down notes, put down very specific action items and to-dos, take the frameworks that I've heard, and apply it to a project that I'm working on or I'm beginning to work on. Now what if there was an app that I could create that would take a link of a podcast, or a YouTube link of a podcast, and then convert it into a playbook, an actionable playbook, with a to-do list, with all the frameworks put down, so that where I could just add the details of my projects, and it would tell me the steps I should take to get it done. hopefully that will at least make some of that gap between you know inspiration and action better it will still obviously mean that I have to eventually go and do the action but you know that is the way things are you have to do the things but hopefully I can contextualize it and bring it closer to the action so that's an idea that I'm thinking of working on more ideas coming soon
